The Families First Picnic is organized by the Ramsey County Bar Association for 200 children and their families from St. Paul's East Side neighborhoods. The Saint Paul Jaycees contribute to the Families First Picnic by organizing the Touch-A-Truck activity in the parking lot of the school.
This event provides an opportunity for children to climb, ring bells, and blink the lights of a police car, fire truck, ambulance and television news truck while giving each business organization an opportunity to teach the children about what their companies do and how people can be safe around the trucks that are in their neighborhoods.
The Saint Paul Jaycees are planning a number of exciting events this summer. Whether you are interested in helping out in the community, or meeting new people, there's something for everyone to take part in!
