Help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Les Farrington Best 100 Juried Art Exhibition. The gallery opening recognizes the winners of the competition.
The selected works are exhibited and scholarships awarded. Volunteers will
serve food, monitor the gallery, and produce the ceremony.
Youth to "Get Vertical" at Les Farrington Triple Play Saturday, March 10, 2007
The first event in our annual Les Farrington Triple Play Series will focus on teaching safety. Volunteers will take the kids from the Naomi Center rock climbing at Vertical Endeavors. This is an opportunity to help give these kids an opportunity to experience something they are unlikely to do in their everyday lives. Rock climbing involves working through fears to achieve a tangible goal-the top of the climb-and is an applicable lesson that can be applied to other areas of one's life.
