Community Development

Since 1929, the Saint Paul Jaycee members have lent their support to Saint Paul and its surrounding communities in a variety of ways through their Community Development Area. Community Development consists of the Community Involvement Committee (CIC) and the Youth Activities Committee (YAC).

CIC and YAC are continually touching lives through many high impact projects, such as the Special Olympics Holiday Party, Children’s Holiday Celebration and Amy Johnson Residence Ice Cream Socials.

We also work with community celebrations such as the St. Paul Winter Carnival, Grand Old Day, and Cinco de Mayo to provide volunteers who help keep things running smoothly. We sponsor some projects that focus on the potential and care of Saint Paul’s youth through events such as the Les Farrington Best 100 Art Show, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Pending Pals Hayride and the Les Farrington Triple Play.

If you are interested in participating in some fun and rewarding projects that truly make a difference in your community, please check out the Saint Paul Jaycees’ Calendar of Events section on our website for upcoming CIC and YAC projects.
